The Sharjah Arts Foundation has announced the opening of applications for participation in the 13th edition of the Photography Exhibition "Sharjah, A View," scheduled to take place in July 2026.
The exhibition welcomes artists working with various techniques and approaches from all countries and encourages proposals that go beyond current photography boundaries, exploring new horizons in this context. Four artists will be selected through this open call, each receiving an production fee of 40,000 AED, in addition to a separate artist’s fee, to develop a photographic series to be showcased in the next edition of the exhibition. Their works will also be included in a special printed publication by the Foundation.
Starting from this edition, "Sharjah, A View" will be permanently hosted at the Foundation’s new Riwaq Photography Building, which provides a 450-square-meter exhibition space equipped with a range of facilities and resources. In line with these changes, the exhibition will feature an additional section in its program dedicated to supporting the production of new photographic works.
Interested photographers can submit their applications via the Foundation’s website by October 31, 2025.
